On Sunday December 23rd, the Stoney Creek Sabres PWAA team participated in the Helping Hamilton's Homeless walk.

Helping Hamilton’s Homeless was founded by Sharon Williamson. Sharon and other volunteers take the streets of Hamilton every other Sunday to hand out basic supplies, clothing, blankets, food and water to Hamilton’s Homeless. This is all done by volunteers week in and week out despite the weather.

The PWAA Sabres submitted this charitable event into the Good Deeds Cup Challenge with the hopes of winning $100,000 for the Helping Hamilton Homeless charity, below is the link to the video.

For more information on the Helping Hamilton Homeless charity and the walks, please see the links below that includes the walk schedule.  They meet at the parking lot on corner of John Street and Rebecca Street lot at noon every other Sunday.

All are welcome!
