S.C.G.H.A.Registration
Requirements
Proof
of Age Requirements for Registration: If
you are registering with S.C.G.H.A. for the first time, or returning
after a season absence, a copy of your birth certificate is
required. This is a requirement on our governing body, the Ontario
Women's Hockey Association to supply proof of age for our participants.
Releases:
As
per the OWHA, should you have played last season with another
girl’s hockey association, a release is required from
that association. Please attach at time of registration. Registrations
for players previously registrated with other OWHA affliated
associations will not be accepted without this required docummentation.
All release requests should be made of the executive, in writing,
and clearly state the player's name, team and the reason for
the request. No release will be issued should the player
not be in good standing with the S.C.G.H.A.: all association
equipment returned, and financially in good standing with the
association.
Permission
to Skate (PTS): The
S.C.G.H.A. will not issue any permission to skate forms from
January 1 until 2 business days after the completion of OWHA
Provincial Playoffs in April, or the day after the Brampton
Canadettes Tournament (whichever is later). All requests are
to be made of the executive in writing and will only be issued
to players in good standing with the association. No player
from another OWHA affiliated association will be permitted on
ice for tryouts without a valid permission to skate form or
a valid release. NO EXECPTIONS.
